About

HRMPEB administers professional HR management examinations in Kenya. The Senior Test Development Officer manages the test development process, including drafting assessment materials, quality control, and coordinating panel meetings for item and paper setting.

Key Responsibilities

Implementing policies, standards and procedures for test development
Preparing the first draft of assessment material according to the syllabus specification
Ensuring parity of standards across optional questions on the paper
Maintaining safe custody of examination materials
Organizing panel meetings for item and paper setting
Ensuring security and confidentiality of all examination materials and processes
Proof reading and quality checks
Identifying setters, markers, moderators and invigilators
Drafting budget, procurement plans and work plan

Requirements

Served in the grade of Test Development Officer HRMPEB Grade 5 or in a comparable position for a minimum period of three (3) years
Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Post graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management
Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP)
Proficiency in computer applications
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
CHAPTER SIX
